Clinical and scientific research support the therapeutic effects of high CBD hemp extract to help with pain and inflammation, skin problems, as a substitute for opioids, and the symptoms associated with some neurological diseases. Many people include lower doses of CBD Rescue as part of their daily regimen to reduce stress and promote sleep. Don’t take our word for it. Do the research and discover the benefits of high CBD hemp extracts.
While many people benefit from High-CBD hemp extracts, they may not be for everyone.* The power of CBD Rescue to heal depends on finding the right dosage. Finding the proper amount depends on your weight and type of pain. Follow the slogan less is more when finding the sweet spot for you. Too small a dose and you won’t feel the benefit, while too much and the effect levels out. The idea is to use just enough CBD Rescue to create a balance between the plant cannabinoids and the body’s natural ability to manage pain and inflammation.
Start with a small dose 1-3 times a day as needed. Increase the dose amount or frequency until you feel relief. Depending on the strength, place 1/2 to 1 dropper of extract under your tongue and hold in place for a full minute or longer for maximum absorption. Hemp cannabinoids and terpenes have different metabolic pathways that depend on whether they’re absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract or through the mucous membrane. Under the tongue is a large vein called the sublingual gland. Absorption through this gland injects CBD directly into the bloodstream, bypasses intestinal degradation pathways, and allows a fast onset and high bioavailability.
Pain and Inflammation
The most common use for high CBD hemp extract is for pain and inflammation.
Nociceptive pain from inflammation comes from physical injury: a pulled muscle, a bruised hip from a fall, twisted ankle, skin splints, or torn ligaments. CBD blocks inflammatory mediators, stopping the pain signals they emit from reaching the brain.
Damage to the body nervous system or neuropathic pain stems from damaged nerves, often caused by disease, pinching of the sciatica or as a reaction to chemotherapy. As a neuroprotectant, CBD can help alleviate some of this pain by reducing further neurol damage and promoting the growth of new neurons.
CBD is a strong antioxidant and neuroprotectant. Many studies have shown it to reduce tremors, spastic movement, and pain associated with epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, and multiple sclerosis. The most famous therapeutic effect is the cessation of seizures in children with Dravet syndrome, an extreme form of epilepsy.
Anxiety, headaches and sleep disorders
Most people report CBD extracts help them relax and chill out. CBD can improve mood by activating serotonin receptors and fostering a sense of well being. Being happy makes you less likely to focus on pain. Less stress means being able to unwind at night and sleep more deeply. Some report that application of topical creams or gels to pain locations on the head can minimize headaches and migraines. Similar relief is obtained if CBD extract is taken at the early onset of a headache.
Eczema and Acne
The anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties of CBD extract can help soothe irritated skin and prevent formation of acne-causing bacteria. Note that heavy creams and some terpenes used in CBD pain creams can cause irritation. Be sure to use a CBD cream or gel specifically formulated for acne or eczema.
*Please consult a physician if using the extracts in conjunction with other pain medications or as part of an addiction treatment program. Do not use hemp extracts if pregnant. The cannabinoids may disrupt development of the fetus’s endocannabinoid system.
